Why Kinetic

Built differently.
Built locally.

500+ Malaysian businesses have already chosen Kinetic over foreign SaaS — not because we're cheaper, but because we're built around the way Malaysia actually does business. Here's exactly why.

Building for Malaysia

The Short Version

Foreign SaaS treats Malaysia as an afterthought. We start here.

Most of the tools Malaysian businesses use every day — payments, hosting, automation, analytics — are designed for the US or EU market, then bolted onto Malaysia with a currency dropdown and a localised checkout page.

That works until you hit something real: FPX integration, MyKad verification, PDPA disclosure, MYR settlement, SST invoicing, Bahasa Malaysia support, a customer in Sabah who needs help on a Sunday. Then suddenly the cheap foreign SaaS becomes the expensive one.

Kinetic is the opposite. We started in Kuala Lumpur in 2010, building for Malaysian SMEs from day one. Every product we ship — KineticPay, OMG Host, UstazAI, PrestasIYB, Flyz — is engineered with the Malaysian context as the foundation, not the patch. That's the difference, and these six pages explain exactly what it means for you.

01 — REASON

Built for Malaysia — not localised after the fact.

FPX, MyKad, PDPA, SecurePay, Bahasa Malaysia — we know the local stack because we use it ourselves every day. The Malaysian context isn't a feature flag we toggle on; it's how every product is designed from line one of code.

  • Native FPX & SecurePay integration
  • MYR-first pricing & settlement
  • SST-ready invoicing built-in
  • PDPA 2010 baked into the data model
  • Bahasa Malaysia UI & support
  • Local banks tested every release

02 — REASON

One integrated ecosystem — not five disconnected vendors.

Shared infrastructure, shared authentication, shared payments. Our products are designed to work together — and we're always adding more. You don't have to stitch APIs from five different vendors just to run your business.

  • Single sign-on across products
  • One billing relationship
  • Shared customer database
  • KineticPay powers all checkout flows
  • OMG Host runs every product
  • One support team for everything

Real Malaysian support — not a chatbot in another timezone.

WhatsApp, phone, or email — staffed by humans in KL who actually understand your business. No tier-1 scripts, no "please open a ticket and wait 72 hours," no 3am-call-centre English. Just people who pick up.

  • WhatsApp support, MY business hours
  • Phone: +60 11 1177 9564
  • Email replies in < 4 hours
  • Bilingual: Bahasa & English
  • Dedicated success manager (Pro)
  • Onboarding walkthroughs included

We use what we sell.

KineticPay processes our own subscriptions. UstazAI handles our customer WhatsApp. OMG Host runs every marketing site. We dogfood everything before we ship it. If it isn't good enough for us to depend on internally, it isn't good enough to put your name on.

  • KineticPay = our billing system
  • UstazAI = our WhatsApp ops
  • OMG Host = our infrastructure
  • Flyz = our launch reels
  • Same SLA we give customers
  • Bugs hit us first, by design

06 — REASON

Built to scale with you.

Start small, grow into enterprise. Our pricing and architecture flex with your business — no rip-and-replace migrations the moment you outgrow the starter plan. The same Kinetic that runs a mamak's online order page also runs MPs' parliamentary analytics.

  • Flat MY-friendly pricing
  • No usage-based bill shock
  • Upgrade without migrating
  • Custom enterprise plans
  • Dedicated infra available
  • Multi-entity / multi-brand

"

We switched off Stripe and onto KineticPay specifically because FPX, MYR settlement, and SST invoicing just worked out of the box. The first time we hit a real problem on a Friday evening, someone from KL replied on WhatsApp in 20 minutes. That's not something we'd ever expect from a US vendor.

Common Questions

Things prospects ask before signing.

Short, honest answers to the questions that come up most often when teams are deciding between Kinetic and a foreign alternative.

Still have questions? Talk to us
Is Kinetic cheaper than Stripe / Shopify / etc.?
Sometimes — but that's not the point. Our MYR pricing avoids the FX premium most foreign SaaS quietly bake in, and our settlement is local so you're not losing 2–4% on conversion every payout. The real saving comes from not paying for an integration team to glue together FPX, PDPA invoicing, and Bahasa support that foreign vendors don't ship.
Can I keep using my existing tools alongside Kinetic?
Absolutely. Most of our customers start with one Kinetic product — usually KineticPay or OMG Host — and add more over time. Everything is API-friendly and plays nicely with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Xero, Google Workspace, and so on.
What happens if I outgrow the starter plans?
You upgrade in place. There's no rip-and-replace migration like you'd hit moving from a "SMB SaaS" to its "enterprise" cousin elsewhere. The same Kinetic infrastructure scales from a one-person side-business to multi-entity groups and government agencies.
Where is my data stored?
Primary regions are Malaysia and Singapore. We don't replicate customer data to US/EU regions, which keeps you on the right side of PDPA 2010 by default — no extra DPA paperwork required for typical SME use.
Do you support enterprise procurement requirements?
Yes. We're a properly registered Sdn Bhd with SSM number, MDEC status, FPX acquirer status, and PDPA officer on file. We can sign NDAs, fill in vendor onboarding forms, and provide audit documentation. Tax invoices are SST-compliant and downloadable from your dashboard.
How fast is support, really?
WhatsApp during MY business hours is usually minutes. Email replies average under 4 hours during weekdays. Critical infrastructure issues are paged 24/7. Every customer gets the same support — we don't gate response times by plan size.
